I'm falling behind :)

I haven't posted in a while, mainly cuz our lives are boring :) So over this summer we have been able to do alot of things, and the kids have loved it. I am doing well since my accident, but I do still have days of pain. Oh well that will be a rest of my life thing I am sure. Will is still in councelling, he still has his bad days, and we are trying to lessen the frequence at the very least. He is making great strides though, as long as he can stay focused on his ultimite goal. Harley and Will are enjoying school. Will is really enjoying having a male teacher again, and I feel it is really helping his outlook on school. After the teacher he had last year, he is needing the boost of confidence he is getting this year. Harley is going to miss out on alot of learning at school this year. Her teacher is not the most on the ball teacher, so I have become the teacher once again, which is fine, that is my job as a mom. However, school is for learning too, and if her teacher isn't going to help in that, I may as well home school her instead. It might cuz down on how much she is sick (lol). I am still actively looking for a job, even though I am very discouraged with the job market right now. I have put out over 50 resumes in the last two months and have had 4 interviews, and hopefully another one next week. But the job openings just get flooded with resumes, and so I am sure it is equally as hard on the employers. However I am still at it, and will stay at it as long as I need to, I guess. See boring lives, but I would much rather be bored in my life, then have drama every second. Excitement is good, but in small quanities, and drama sucks. Well now that I have given enlightenment into our lives, I will bid farwell. Hope everyone is good :)

The New Year

So the new year has now begun. Man how fast the last one went. Was it really even there, lol. So this past year it was all pretty boring, same old stuff school summer break and more school. This year I have decided to volunteer two days a week at the kids school. I help with Math in first grade on Monday afternoons, and Reading in fourth grade on Wednesday mornings. I have had alot of fun getting to know the kids classmates, and now I can finally put a face to the name, it is great. I was attending school again, but they had one of the two programs crash, and it took a while to get it back up and running. This summer I painted boards for Twelve Timbers, and when I started school again I decided school was more important. With Will's homework and Harley's this year I could not fit in school, work, and thier homework. We are working to change that, but with the economy the way that it is jobs are is short demand. So we'll see what happens in the near future. I am so enjoying being home with them, it will be really hard to go back to an office. Will is starting to get the hang of homework before play, but we still have a long way to go on the caring part, he really doesn't care if it is done right as long as it is done. We are trying to get the stuff for his group theropy done as well. This is difficult considering it is extra work and he wants to go play instead. His counceling is going really well, he still has his days, but they are getting fewer and farther inbetween; and less hard to deal with as well. He is really enjoying his counceler, and his new friends that he has made in group counceling. I am really glad I decided to get him into counceling, sometimes I think I should have done it sooner. Harley is just her very happy story telling, hating people self. She is in the top of her class, ranking 1 in reading and 3 in math. She is also in the top 10 of the state in reading and top 30 in the state in math. She is a hard worker, she enjoys doing her homework and is alwasy worried about how it looks and if it is right. This is a great improvment for her, since it took her almost 2 wks to start talking to her teacher. I think this year has helped her alot. She has a teacher that I do not really know, and she has never met before. It has helped some with her hatred of people-lack of a better way to put that. And me I am just plugging along taking things as they come. Nothing important is going on in my life, I hope this changes soon, lol. I kinda like my life uncomplicated.

So it has been an month again. So much goes on, but to me it is just everyday stuff. Well so in the last month, hmmmmmm. School is still the same for Will, I am trying to think of solutions, and about the only ones I can think of is moving him to another class. We will see at parent teacher time. Harley is really warming up to her teacher, and her teacher is really excited about it. I have decided to go back to school. I take two 3D classes. I decided to take them non credit; it saves a ton of money that way. I am taking a mechanical drafting class and an acrhitectural drafting class. They are so much fun. I go to school from 8 to 12, then two days a week I go help in the kids classes. I have decided to stay at twelve timbers, and take half the load I was before. I need the money every other week. Also I will be working with Craig Conder again, when he finally has work. That will help to have extra money every couple of months. Will's b-day is next month he will turn 10. I can't believe how my kids are growing. Will should not be 10 and Harley should definately not be 6. I am turning 30 where did that time go, hehe. It just seems no matter how much time you are with your kids they still grow up way to fast. So that is about all that my little family is up to. It's kinda boring here, but soon maybe it will change.
